C.O.A.C.H - Our Coaching Process at Wadestone

Awhile back we posted a blog about 3 things every author needs to succeed. You can find that blog here.

Those three things 1) Accountability 2) Community and 3) Stewardship are aspects that we apply to every client relationship we have here at Wadestone. Our goal is to support you as an author and help you succeed, and we truly believe these three things are of highest priority when it comes to your success.

Today, we wanted to take it one step further and share with you more about how we structure our coaching sessions. Coaching is a large part of what we offer here at Wadestone and we do not take the responsibility of coaching any of our clients lightly. It is our honor to come alongside you as you write, grow your platform, hone your skills, and steward your gifts.

Because of that we have a few specific steps we apply to our coaching sessions. To keep it simple we have applied the COACH acrostic to our steps.

C-Counsel

Our goal in our coaching session is always to counsel you on how to cultivate humility in the face of celebrity culture.

O-Opportunity

We set aside specific opportunity to refine your goals, ideas, and content.

A-Accountability

In our sessions we will offer you accountability to hard deadlines on writing and content development.

C-Challenge

We will challenge you on how and why growing your platform is good for you as an author.

H-Help

We will help creating strategies for stewardship of the idea you have been given to write.

These steps are a simplified overview of what our coaching session entail, but they do get at the core of what we hope to accomplish. Not everyone will come to us with the same needs and we understand that. In our very first session together we will sit down and define your goals so that we can apply these steps to our coaching and ensure we reach your goals.

Whether you need help curing that writer’s block or growing your social media presence we have seen how effective coming alongside someone and helping them in these aspects have led to great results in our coaching session.
